The more impressive projects on your resume or Github, the better. Especially if it is a project outside of the classroom. It shows you know how to code and what your interests and passions are.
Develop Skills
This is YOUR opportunity to learn something new! Learn new technology, or if you're already a wiz you can teach others!
Teamwork
Learning how to work in a team is an important skill. Often, we are told to work alone, so this is a perfect opportunity to collaborate and be a team player.
